It was very convenient in many aspects such as we were provided with Guest Pass which gives mamy advantages such as free accesses to the museums that we wanted to visit. We saved 45 euros in total. The gentleman at the reception was also very nice and kind, answered all of our questions. The lady preparing the breakfast was very nice as well. This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.
The appartment is located in a picturesque village Valdaora. Despite being a little remote from the nearest ski slope (Olang), it's a very good place to stay for skiers and snowboarders as a ski bus stop is right next to the appartment and the commute to Olang takes approx. 5 minutes. Also Mr Beikircher is a very kind and friendly person.
The hotel exceeded our expectations.
Everything was great, from the food for breakfast, the 5-course dinner to the extremely friendly staff.
It's also great that from the balcony of the room you have a view of the Olang cable car and the ski slopes, the hotel is only 5 minutes away by car from the ski resort.
the residence is located in the main square of Valdaora, right in the place where you can see the “palo della cuccagna” upon which they climb up during a festival between august and September. Plus you got a pastry bar just downstairs, perfect if you choose to start the day with a cappuccino
