The location is very beautiful and peaceful. The staff is nice and friendly. We had a dinner few times in the restaurant and it was very delicious, especially the steak, the olive oil and the wines were so good.

Clean property with a great view, the room was clean, bed comfortable, the breakfast included with the stay is excellent,ac worked well, all the people working there are great, ready for everything you need, especially Matteo. It’s 10 miles away from Florence, you need a car to move around since is away from everything, I recommend this place!

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's charming, quaint, historic. One of a kind. Great location right in the centre of historic Borgo San Lorenzo. Exceptionally clean. Helpful owner, who although spoke little English, we were able to communicate ok. Simple continental breakfast is in the cafe next door. I would definitely return here again. It's not luxurious (no swimming pool, no tea/ coffee station...), but it's a little glimpse into a bygone era. Good value too.
