The location was perfect (one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel) and close to the ferry stop. Paid extra to have the room with the balcony, which was overlooking the small canal, so it was totally worth it since this is pretty unique! Each room seems to have its own character. Loved the old style with the baldaquin bed, wallpaper and the rest of the furniture and lighting.

Nice hotel made up of many buildings joined together over time. Good location , easy walk to everything. Comfy beds and pillows. Pleasant room with windows you can open .

Hotel Canaletto is near San Lio Church, in the heart of Venice. The elegant building was once home of the famous Canaletto painter. The Rialto Bridge is 200 metres away.

I don't think you can do better for location:price in Venice. It's decorated in a Venetian style which is what you want staying in Venice. And Canaletto actually lived there! (Look for the stone plaque) The staff were all so helpful and welcoming, the room had good air conditioning (it was 31° when we visited and the room was 23°!), and our windows looked out at Ponte de Malvasia. We will definitely be back.

Great location, spacious and elegant room, very good breakfast with good quality coffee and the service at breakfast from the lady was wonderful, generally friendly staff, we loved the balcony overlooking the canal and a gondolier cleaning his vessel solicitously, very good restaurant food-wise (despite the waiters who were unhappy we did not order seven dishes each).
