This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at; perfectly placed if the Stelvio Pass is in your plans. The views are stunning and we had one of the nicest meals in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and if I come back to the area I’d definitely want to stay here.

We were travelling as a group of nine on motorcycles. On arrival we had to go to another hotel 1 mile further up the road to be checked in and make dinner reservations (the hotel we were staying at was basically an addition to the one further up the road, where only the bedrooms and breakfast were served). Unbelievably bedrooms, the meals at the hotel were outstanding and a shuttle bus took us back and fore whenever we wished. The shuttle bus driver was actually the owner of the hotels, a lovely man who also took our meal orders (even though he had plenty of staff). A true gentleman. Apparently the Top Gear Team always stay at this hotel when they are driving the Stelvio Pass. A wonderful experience.

Great location to explore the region but particularly the Stelvio Pass. And the staff are wonderful. Particular the woman who served us in the bar. So busy but never without a smile.

We had a great stay! The resort is set in the village of Solda/Sulden in a beautiful location in the mountains. In summer you can do walks or hikes.
We had a newly renovated room, which was clean, comfortable and had a brilliant view of the mountains. The food offered was excellent, with a lot of variety. The half board option is definitely worth it. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The spa offered a great opportunity to relax after a long day outside.
Our view was not great and the bathroom door did not work...
Our view was not great and the bathroom door did not work and the shower has the toilet in it which was kind of strange. We loved walking on the trails in the back and enjoyed the views and benches to rest. We ate there and it was very good. They offer various outdoor seating which is nice as well. They did not serve any aperitivo snacks with our drinks which could have been a nice touch.
Despite our late arrival, most pleasant stuff made for us a fast dinner, and the manager of hotel personally escorted us to Ortles. The best thing was that the manager, when heard what was our motorcycle trip plan, brought a map and gave us advices about routes through 6 nearby passes which was absolutely great and made our trip so special as it was. So for the accommodation and for the hotel stuff only the strongest recommendations.
And yes, the breakfast with the mountain view was magnificent.
Everything was perfect. owners of the hotel welcomed us into the hotel as if we were part of their family. they prepared dinner for us for free because we arrived at the location tired late at night. Breakfast is beautiful and delicious, all homemade products. Clean and quiet, they have the most beautiful view of the glacier from the garden of the restaurant. I recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to see you again soon.

Located on the Stelvio Pass and with spectacular views of the valley and mountains it’s perfect for a relaxing stay during a long road trip.
The hotel is decorated exactly how you’d expect an alpine chalet style hotel to be, with even a stuffed marmot in the entrance hall.
