The best thing about the hotel was his location, it was very close to the lake. Also a very big plus was the fact that is has a parkinglot very close to the hotel, so you dont have to leave your car somewhere else.

It is not the most accessible part of Lake Garda, but the town is about 30 minutes from the hotel. You can catch the ferry from there and there are a few good places to eat. I would suggest staying a few days at diferent locations around the lake. There is a local bus service, but it is not that regular.

Going anywhere for holiday, our overall perception is a mix...
Going anywhere for holiday, our overall perception is a mix of many conscious and unconscious happenings, views, scents, people, nature. In case of La Cascata Negli Ulivi if I was to mention the most important, then it would by far be the host's hospitality and helpfulness. Giovanni is a star, providing us sense of calmness and relaxation. We also loved the property itself, the beautiful and peaceful garden (even more stunning than on the pictures) and the breakfasts which were a celebration of Bella Vita ;)
Garda lake itself and surrounding nature, is an epic experience itself. We will come back for sure! Recommend visiting Limone sul Garda, including the panoramic bike path up north, Varone waterfalls, Arco castle and possibly many more we haven't had the time to vistit or left for next time. If you want to spend some leisure time at the lake, a public beach in Toscolano Maderno would be our choice.

The property was in the hillside, however it was easy to find nice "beaches" in Toscolano Maderno. It was easy to get the food in the city. The traffic was a little heavy during certain periods of the days.

Wonderful calm town.
Wonderful calm town. Great valley with a wonderful waterfall and very interesting Museum of Paper. I also visited a small but interesting MU.RE. Museo Recuperanti 1915-1918 Alto Garda about WW1 in the region. I also visited 2 churches: first XI century church of St. Andrea and Chiesa dei Santi Faustino e Giovita in Monte Maderno - nice walk with a great view on the lake.

Like many of the towns and villages around Lake Garda,...
Like many of the towns and villages around Lake Garda, Toscolano Maderno has old sites and buildings as well as new. The old town is picturesque but in the summer a major attraction is obviously the lakeside beach with camping sites. (We visited in April during a cool but sunny spell.)
It is a good base for visiting other towns on the lake due to its location and ferry connections.

Walked into town from our accommodation. Only down side. Hard walk back up to accommodation. Need to be fit.

Great place to stay in warmer weather! Right near the waterfront and bus stop. Location couldn't be better!

Excellent value for money. We had a lovely view over the lake. Plenty of eating opportunities in the immediate area, including the hotel itself. Near ferry port, backing on to the characterful old town. Staff quickly and cheerfully fixed a minor issue with the bathroom
The hotel is really clean and cozy. The hosts were kind and welcomed everyone warm. The garden is just delightful and really big! Also the hotel is close to the beach. There is a fridge where you can storage some food and a microwave.
This was a lovely location...quieter than the other villages. Nice restaurants. Pretty boutique hotel with a great terrace and sunloungers around the pool. Great breakfast buffet. Very convenient to pick up ferry boat.
The place where this hotel is located is perfect if you just want to enjoy, relax, stay in the hotel and enjoy the lake water.
Breakfast was good for italian standars.
The people working here are super friendly.
