Torre Chianca has very few amenities, and at the time we visited (14/5) only one cafe/ bar and one shop was open. Another two bars came on stream on the beach at the end of our stay , so one must be prepared for the quiet life or to travel.

Torre Chianca is quiet but perfectly located to explore the Southern region of Puglia and the accommodation is only a few minutes walk to the local beach. The house is very spacious, clean and has a lovely private garden which is not overlooked. You can park your car in the gated drive and it feels safe. We had a problem with the electrics whilst out there but the host got it sorted and sent an electrician and it was fixed within the day.
Generally the house is great and we did have a good stay.
Wowwww. I am a luxury travel advisor and stay in the best hotels all the time. Masseria Francescani is a very rare gem. Every detail is of incredible taste. The staff, including Rosela, Carlota and Gaetano were all so attentive and joyful. This is the best value I have paid for a hotel of that caliber in a very long time. And the food, inclusive breakfast is incredible and the optional dinner worth every euro. Bravo !!!
