We stayed there for 4 nights and we liked the place. The owner of the building is very pleasant and helpful. We came to the place little bit late but couldn't buy something to eat before we arrived. Owner took us to the market by his vehicle and waited until we did the shopping.

I like everything about the hotel, the room, the food and the space. Everything is perfect. But I think that the most beautiful thing is the behavior of the staff, especially the man who stays all night in the lounge for you. A beautiful hotel❤️

Strange place. Strange beaches. Sidewalk on one side is in complete chaos, you can easily fall down and break your leg. But food in the restaurant was nice. If you want to come here read more about it, so you can realize if it is for you. Definately not for me.

If it weren't for the horror show of the Green Park 'Resort', I may have given Tirrenia a good review. I would wish that there was some kind of committee to vote and close down this communist-style 'resort' who could care less about clients.

Typical resort - hotel beaches, lots of restaurants.
Typical resort - hotel beaches, lots of restaurants.
Ideal location for trips to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and other beautiful places of Tuscany. But if you prefer relaxing on the beach, there are far more beautiful places - go to Cinque Terre, or avoid Italy altogether (better sea is usually on the greek islands or in Croatia)
If you want to cook your own meals and are visiting outside the summer months (september mainly), then you are advised to shop for fresh ingredients (fish, seafood) in Livorno market as the one in Tirrenia is closed due to some riddiculous reasons and there are only small "super"markets with frozen food...
It is however ideal for families with small childern - the sea is very warm and shallow

I would recommend holidaying in Tirrenia with kids between 0 and 10 y/o, and then probably between 14 and 16 – so they may enjoy the seaside on their own/unsupervised - go to the water park, meet some friends, go to some good rides in the Luna Park. We also enjoyed day trips to Pisa, Florence, Lucca and Livorno - which was great to get away from the monotony of a beachfront holiday and weave some educational aspect into the holiday fabric.
It's a nice place to stay, but really there's nothing more to say than that. If you need a place to stay, this'll do the job. The TV is modern! Extra blankets if you need them, free water refill machine, no bad smells anywhere, not a noisy area. Originally I had this at a 6, but I didn't realise this hotel was managed by the Red Cross, so I don't feel it's fair to judge it as a typical hotel. If it was I think it would be more of a 5/6. But as it's run by a charity, this is a good 7.5 from me.
The pool was great - it is clean and deep. Kids had a blast. There is a bar close by where you can get a cold beer. The hotel has a beautiful view over the ocean (ask when booking). It was reasonably priced and had free parking. There is a small but a bit expensive waterpark close bye. The kids loved it.
The most helpful is Aleksandr he is in the relationship, and he helps me with all I need.
The hotel is clean, and it is near to the center, beach and shops.
I will be back there soon. I love the era, beach, and the people there.
We had a free upgrade for an early check in. The receptionist was very kind. The hotel is renovated and very beautiful. The room is all white and clear. There is a bar with a beautiful swimming pool in the rooftop.
