We had the top room with sea view it was amazing. The terrace is also very good to hang out on. Close enough to sorrento to walk or catch the regular bus on the beachfront.
Il Faro is right on the harbour in Sorrento, which is great if you are thinking of visiting 1 of the islands. Have a traditional Neapolitan pizza at the Vela Bianca restaurant.

The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. They had excellent follow up to any needs that came up. The breakfast menu was vast and food very good. The keyboard musician was wonderful and the wait staff courteous. Very pleasant experience.

Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy.

Most definitely need a car as public transportation is not close enough. Need to be a confident driver to navigate bends in road and local drivers going too fast. Fair sized Conad supermarket about ten minutes drive in S.Agata. Can’t really walk anywhere because no pavement
