Teglio is a very nice town on the highlands of the Alps, the climate in September is awesome and our week was just right.
The location is close to more famous landscapes, but even just the town is perfect if the travellers want calmness and peacefulness.
Paolo was a fantastic host. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished, the room we stayed is was a great size and had absolutely stunning views of the mountains. The breakfast was fantastic, lovely fresh, local produce, home made cakes hot and cold options. So many things to choose from that lunch was not needed! Teglio is a lovely village, we explored a lot of the area on foot and could rest in the hotel lounge or garden on our return to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
This is a whole flat on the 3rd floor with a bedroom, living room with an extra bed, large bathroom and kitchen. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the living room window. Good value for money. Teglio is a nice little town overlooking a valley, with restaurants and shops offering local specialities. Nice mountain walks in the area.
The small family run B&B is everything you need for a perfect stay. The restaurant serves some really authentic and excellent food. The hotel is close to Tirano on the Bernina express line. Also the family who run the hotel and restaurant are warm and nice!
