Iasmin was a delight to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. We got to Spello early and as no one was in the apartment the night before she allowed us to enter the apartment early. The apartment had everything you could need. Also was lovely and cool at night. Would stay again without hesitation. Memorable.

Spello is an amazing town, so historic and interesting.
Spello is an amazing town, so historic and interesting. I loved walking through the old streets. Staff at all the shops, cafes and restaurants were so helpful and kind. I am disappointed I mussed the festivals held in Spello and hope to return to experience at least some if it.

Spello is a beautiful, very clean old town.
Spello is a beautiful, very clean old town. The old town is very easy to walk around, mostly hilly but not to steep. There is no parking in the old town, if you have a car it needs to be parked about 200 metres away. You can drive in close to your stay and drop off luggage. There are many dining options and a variety of lovely shops.

Spello is small, safe and beautiful.
Spello is small, safe and beautiful. It’s all uphill or downhill so good exercise while strolling. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous so strolling alongside the fields and listening to the birds is a relaxing way to spend time. The city streets and buildings are ancient and very cool. People keep it clean and so many have flowers. Easy to just hang out in the piazzas. A few museums, churches and points of interest but we just wanted to soak it in

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. It felt like each time I went for a walk I would find a new little street filled with plants and flowers. Very relaxing in the evenings with lovely wine and Bruscetta. We also found a Couple of places with craft beer.

Spello is a gorgeous Umbrian hill village.
Spello is a gorgeous Umbrian hill village. The population is 8300 pax, it's very quiet and calm, a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Rome and Tuscany. The food is similar to Tuscan (truffles, porchetta, lenticche, cinghiale, etc...). Just overall a very lovely village, with winding little alleys and flowers and art galleries, shops everywhere in the historic center. You will find many Northern Italians visiting on weekends...a spattering of Americans and other nationalities. A week is good amount of time to explore the village and allows times for day trips to Assisi or

Take a train to Foligno and then a taxi to Spello - you won't need a car once you're in town. Easily worth a 3 days visit to unplug and relax - Spello is an absolutely charming town. 2 beautiful churches and eat at Properzio and Pinturicchio. Don't forget to also take a hike outside of Spello through the olive groves along the Roman Acqueducts and up to the next town. Easy-moderate 3-4 hours and well marked - or just go halfway and then return. Enjoy!
Monica went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. Including collecting and delivering us to our arrival and departing transport. She organised for us to go to an olive oil farm for lunch and to see the harvest and had great suggestions of places to visit. The place was well stocked with supplies. The washing machine and drying rack were a nice surprise after having been doing hand washing for weeks! Spello was a fantastic location to stay to explore the area. Parking was easy.
Spotless well equiped property in the middle of Spello. Such a lovely welcome and explanation of everything. Easy to park briefly to unload bags then park conveniently down the hill.
There was even milk in the fridge and an abundance of basic supplies. Well set up kitchen where everything looked like it was purchased yesterday.
Spello is a very pretty hilltop town. The room was close to the main road and only up a short distance along a steep laneway. Bed was comfortable and aircon worked.
Lovely view of Spello from back of property.
