The hosts who greeted us on arrival treated us to a welcome drink, and then looked after us for the week were so warm and friendly and set a very positive tone for our stay. The place was ideally located for trips onto the Seiser Alm, and was well-served by frequent buses (that were free to use, with the "guest card"). We didn't use the car once across the week, and yet took a trip each day. And what wonderful scenery - but you know that already! The room itself was large, with a good shower and a balcony. Parking for the car was great, too - and we have a large estate so not always easy.

The room was very clean, big room, confortable bed, nice shower with direct view to the moutains. We were able to recharg our batteries at maximum here, the food and buffet was delicious, the pool is heated and the view it’s something else (you need to see it yourself). We will for sure come back!

Siusi is a good launching spot for exploring the stunning Seiser Alm. The cable car is conveniently centrally located, with ample parking or you can walk to it from pretty much anywhere in Siusi (or there are buses for 3 euros). There is a decent and popular restaurant with a nice, large patio at the cable car building. As of June 2024, cost for the cable car was 17€ per person one way, 26€ round trip. Hiking and biking (rentals available) around the Alm is spectacular, albeit busy in some places near the various cable cars. Siusi itself seems to be a satellite of Castelrotto, which is only a few minutes away by car and has restaurants and grocery stores and shops; Siusi itself is small and more of a neighborhood, but the views are great and it’s quiet and pretty.

Siusi will take your breath away, literally. Like something out of a fairy tale, you couldn't imagine a place like this exists without seeing it for yourself. If it isn't at the top of your travel bucket list, I highly recommend you add Alpe Di Siusi to it today ;).

Siusi is a nice, picturesque village with a small centre that offers all you need - a nice caffee, some restaurants, a well stocked shop, bakery, etc.
It is really close to Seiseralm cable car and offers plenty of opportunities for walks and some nice old churches paired with views of magnificent Mt. Schlern.

If you are visiting the Dolomite mountains, Siusi is perhaps the place to stay. The cable car facilities are in the town. This cable car will take up the mountains into an open valley where you can see the mountains all around you. You can walk down this valley a few hundred yards and take a chair lift to a higher point where your eye sight can reach peaks like Marmolada much farther away. Siusi is full of hotels and several restaurants. It is a nice little town cubbyholed in the mountains, but easy and safe to reach.

Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic.
Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic. Driving in Italy problematic for Americans as Italians tailgate CONSTANTLY even on narrow and curved mountain roads. Scooter drivers and motorcyclysits have no regard to traffic laws and are frankly dangerous.
First of all the cuisine - just magnificent, based on local products, terrific wine card.
Also the choice of local spirits and drinks served by very good bartender deserve for appreciation.
Very hostile, kind and helpfull staff.
Rooms were very clean and refreshed everyday.
Underground garage, free of charge for guests (big thumbs up!)
Each day the hotel organize an excursion for persons who don't ski, what is just great!
Location of the hotel was superb, set right by the Seiser Alm bahn cable car. Scenery is drop dead gorgeous set up against a mountain backdrop. Dinner was superb with fresh and flavorful options. Breakfast had plentiful options buffet-style. Spa was large with plenty of lounging space. Robes and slippers for guest use!
Apartment was very good accommodation inside a pretty village. It is well located with Alpe di Siusi close by. There are a few bars in the village and there is possibility to buy provisions from the supermarket a few mins walk away.
It is 5 mins drive to Castelrotto and was very convenient for us for walks etc.
Perfect location close to the cable car, easy but delicious breakfast, storage rooms for the skis and the boots, the hotel had great ambiance - we enjoyed our stay here especially thanks to the lovely hosts 😃🥰👍. Thanks!
