This family run property is phenomenal. I’d give it a 6 if I could. Fantastic service and the view is as spectacular as any place I have ever been. Like most things in life it’s a bit of a trudge up the hill BUT it is so worth the trip. Utterly fantastic. Giovanna and her family are super attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Great breakfast and with only 9 rooms personal attention is guaranteed. One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed!
Hotel Hotel Baglio Di Scopello is located in the hilltop town of Scopello, overlooking the Mediterranean. It offers an outdoor pool and rooms with air-conditioning and satellite TV.

Great location and pool. Modern and well appointed facilities
Set in the center of Scopello and overlooking the Mediterranian Sea, Torre Bennistra offers a restaurant and air-condiitoned rooms a 10-minute drive from Castellammare Del Golfo.
Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, Baglio Dello Zingaro is surrounded by nature and faces the sea. It is at the foot of the hill where Scopello's tower stands. The beach is 0.9 mi away.
Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants.
The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat.
The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

Scopello is a compact, beautiful tourist town with shops and quite a few quality restaurants and cafes. It is - thank god - bereft of any fast food or chain restaurants. There are many beaches, hikes, and water-based tours available. The "town" has cobblestone streets but is generally flat, so walking is easy. The central district is vehicle-free, which is great, except parking is a challenge if your accommodation is in the central district - I'd recommend you discuss with the facility(s) you're considering.

The location is simply perfect. 15 mins walk to centre of Scopello, cca 20 mins to entrance to Zingaro natural reserve, cca 20 mins to the closest beach, cca 20 mins to Tonnara di Scopello (true - the way back is always uphill, therefore takes longer). The house is secluded and therefore completely quiet during the whole day, but I enjoyed it especially in the evening.
The host Andrea was helpful and gave us useful tips for our visit (restaurants, beaches).
We spent 6 days here and would not mind staying longer.
Elena and her husband were fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Elena even brought us snacks from the wonderful bakery where she works next door. The terrace, accessible by narrow stairs, offers amazing views of Scopello and the surrounding area. The location is central and close to everything, with a convenient parking nearby. Scopello is a beautiful place, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
The territory of the hotel is very cozy and picturesque, with many places to relax and a large barbecue area.
We lived in a room for 6 people, with sea view, huge living room and kitchen.
The owners of the hotel were very friendly and attentive.
Overall we had the best experience and would love to return. Thank you to the owners for their attention to detail and love for their guests!
I really liked staying at Torre Bennistra. It is a beautiful hotel with style and the family who run it have a lot of grace.
The rooms are good with great light and comfort.
The hotel has a lot of character and in a great location in Scopello.
The food too is amazing.
I highly recommend this hotel and will return.
Absolutely stunning place overlooking beautiful Scopello. You need a car to get there but it is absolutely worth the drive up that dirt road for some stunning views and tranquility. Also a great base for exploring the nearby national park. 100% would recommend!
