Loved this hotel! It exceeded my expectations throughout the entire trip. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. I was staying down by the port which was nice - cafes and quite busy at night but not noisy. It was quite a walk up to the main area where most of the restaurants and the shops were - especially in the heat. Parking wasn't an issue.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place.
Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town...
If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.
Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants.
Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there.
Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.
It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

Sciacca is a lovely lively town situated on a hill on the coast. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well equipped, staff was super friendly and very attentive. Breakfast offered a wide selection of fruits, cakes and others. Parking was possible next to the hotel. To reach the city centre, we had to climb some 200 stairs which was a
good exercise before the dinner with a nice sea view all the way.
Great room with a nice terrace, also the sofa bed for the children was very comfortable. Very good shower and good location to visit sciacca. Domenika is a very friendly host giving tips for things to visit and restaurants in the area. And she is available whenever you need anything. We felt very welcome in her luxury rooms and in Sciacca!
What an amazing boutique hotel with exceptional staff!! Great breakfast, tasteful rooms and wonderful private spa. We also did a couple massage which was heavenly. Again a special mention of the staff that were so friendly, helpful and professional.
Nice apartment with 2 balconys,a good kitchen on the main street of the harbor.,Big comfortable bed. Very friendly owner.Great location to watch real life Sicily .Big fish market nearby. Also easy parking nearby
Guiseppe was extremely helpful, even offering his car space for us. He also gave us very great advice on where to eat-two of the best restaurants we experienced in Sicily.The location was perfect.
