This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's charming, quaint, historic. One of a kind. Great location right in the centre of historic Borgo San Lorenzo. Exceptionally clean. Helpful owner, who although spoke little English, we were able to communicate ok. Simple continental breakfast is in the cafe next door. I would definitely return here again. It's not luxurious (no swimming pool, no tea/ coffee station...), but it's a little glimpse into a bygone era. Good value too.

Great location for via degli Dei hikers, very friendly and kind host Peppe, good kitchen for cooking dinner, comfortable beds,,, overall great accommodation and value!
The apartment is located in walking distance from the historic city center and only 7 minutes from Mugello. This makes it a perfect choice for someone who wants to combine the iconic Mugello and some city tourism. The host was very friendly and prompt in his replies. He accommodated our late arrival and everything was smooth and stress-free, so we could enjoy are stay in Scarperia and Mugello.
Breakfast was lovely-meats, cheese, bread, cereal, croissants, fresh squeezed juice, cappuccinos made to order. My kids loved the cases of model race cars as well as the playground across the street. We walked into Scarperia and had scenic drives over to Pisa and Florence while we visited the area.
Great location, nice room, helpful staff. Parking close by. Character aircon worked! Not always true in Italy. Easy access to Scarperia restaurants and attractions.
