The staff at breakfast was superfriendly and helpful. The place is ok, the rooms and facilities are a bit dates and the location is quite a bit outside. It's a good choice for a quick sleep over on a trip, which is what we did.

The host was so kind! Super flexible and when I had to work a little later he gave us a later checkout. He also gave us a complimentary upgrade in rooms! The space was HUGE and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. There was coffee and small snacks. There was milk in the fridge and water! Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

During our stay my partner and I didn’t take the time to explore the city of Sassari. But during the evenings we did enjoy going to a couple nice restraunts. We did enjoy using the public transportation to visit other cities but overall sassari is a very calm place to stay and very close to the north western part of the island.

Not a real tourist town but with a nice old centre (small streets, high houses, colorful facades). When we visited it (late afternoon + early evening first week of May), it was extremely quiet - some squares seemed totally deserted - which created a weird atmosphere. Scene and streets got more livelier around Piazza d'Italia and University but not what you might expect from a city with >100.000 inhabitants.
Conclusion: nice but not unmissable.

Connection from Sassari to the various beaches is good and public transport is very good and efficient. Alghero airport is just 20 mins away. There are lovely places to visit, beautiful sea and sand and weather was nice and warm. Will surely return

Sassari is a very nice town with historical city center, old walls and friendly people. Sadly the tram line is not working, although it would be useful. You can stay here for many days like at home. The town is near Alghero and Porto Torres, so many programs are there at the sea also. Recommended for everyone.

Sassari itself was disappointing.
Sassari itself was disappointing. We walked around it in an afternoon! However it was a great base for exploring the local area with great transport links! We visited Alghero, Porto Torres, Castelsardo and Stintino

The city is nice but i belive that is not the best place for accommodation in Sardignia! No beach and you need a car for traveling and stay in around 4 hours/day.
Nice restaurants in the city :) with nice athmosfere!
Very beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and clean room. Very modern and clean bathroom.
The room also included all the amenities for breakfast- coffee machine and tea, biscuits and snacks kindly offered by the owner. The rooms were centrally located so we could walk around in the old town of Sassari. The hostess (Laura) was very lovely, helpful and kind! Highly recommended place!!
The surroundings of Villa Malvasio are gorgeus and the building itself is so welcoming and charming, it is like being at home, but with all the amenities of a hotel. Also, I would like to highlight the exquisite attention of Roberto, he made our stay very confortable. 100% recommendable!
The hotel was very nice, the self-check-in easy and the overall friendliness of the person on the phone. Sassari is not the best city we visited on the island, but a very comfy option to do if you have to take a ferry on the following morning early in the morning.
It´s such a nice and lovely place to stay. Everything looks like at photos, it´s small but there is everything you could need. I would recommend to anyone who plans to stay at Sassari!
