You can see Stromboli island and the sunsets are out of this world.
The colors of the sea are spectacular
The only problem is to a access the beach you have a long steep walk. It is paved the whole way down.
We used to enjoy sitting in the piazza eating our gelato and felt at home with the locals

We liked the quietness of the area when we wanted and then only 9 mins by car to Tropea for nightlife if we felt like it:)
We eat dinner poolside at hotel and also in Tropea. Getting around Santa Domenica is really easy, by car, taxi or shuttle bus service.
Hotel L'Oasi is new, beautiful and modern and included in your stay offers a free Amazing beach, you won't be disappointed!
