I liked the property! It was decorated very cute and elegant. The staff were phenomenal and made me feel so welcome even though I spoke no Italian. The bed was cozy and the room stayed warm. I loved the blanket ! Hot water in the shower too. What else could a girl ask for !? The breakfast was excellent and the WiFi was really strong and reliable. I would stay here again anytime.

The breakfast was fantastic, the waitress helping out with breakfast was great, and my check-in guy was really good. I had a bit of a tough time finding the front door, but my issue, not theirs (perhaps a sign on the first door you come to could help). The bedroom was spacious and served my needs and while the cheapest for the weekend, it was by no means cheap. The wifi was pretty bad and kept dropping.
The shower had one issue and it was that the shower head had a huge leak that would spray all over the room. I took a look at it and they really just need a new shower head (5 Euro), and some plumbers tape to make it not spray all over. They looked like they knew it was an issue as they had a squeegee in the room. The towels were scratchy and the bedspread was quite dated, but I expected that when I booked it for the cheapest price in town.
I did ask what the price would be for an extra night and was quoted more for a Monday night after the World Cup races than I'd paid for the Saturday and Sunday. Sounds like the owner was just trying to make some extra money on this, but I had to turn it down. Found a place in Cortina proper that was cheaper.
Lastly, the buses out to the town from Cortina are intermittent and run infrequently. I think the last one was before 8 pm and the time changed every night. It would sometimes go over an hour between buses so you really needed to be on the schedule.

Easy short drive to some spectacular hikes.
It was busy in August but not too hard to get off the beaten track.
Good take-away pizza from the spagetteria restaurant.
Park by the lake lovely in the evening for toddler with crazy golf/trampolines, nice bar for a beer with amazing views of the mountains

Great option to stay near Cortina.
Great option to stay near Cortina. Mato Kitchen Bar and La Stua were both great but the highlight was a lovely dinner with a view at Refugio Larin. All the great hikes in the area are a short drive away and it is not as crowded in the summer as Cortina.

It was awesome! We stayed in a 2 bed apartment, it had everything we needed in it, The kitchen was well equipped and the all the rooms super spacious. The balcony had amazing views of course, perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee! The staff were super helpful, and friendly, and we loved the sauna every evening! The dinner at the hotel was exceptional too!
Great family hotel with cozy vintage decoration. Extremely clean and quiet. Jacuzzi and sauna for free with the best panoramic you could ever imagine. Outstanding breakfast: they prepare the best omeletes I've ever tried and excellent home made costratas alla mamarllatta. They offer dinner service and its fantastic!
