Good starting point for a day or half day trips to Mont Blanc, Matterhorn (Cervino in Italian) and St. Bernard Pass.

Pretty little town in a good location at the start of the valley leading to Breuil-Cervinia. Good place to sleep if you can't get any reasonable accomodation in the resort itself, though it is a ~45 minute drive each way
