The booking was misleading! Breakfast not included. No towels in the room or soap! Rooms were disgusting and dirty! Shower was full of sand. Bugs in the room!

Ideally situated for the wonderful beach area...friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful when our travel plans got changed..walking distance from the railway station connecting the town to Foggia staion and the rest of Italy (butthe train may not run out of season)..walking distance to the town center (uphill) and its dozens of bars/restaurants.

Rodi Garganico is a relatively small town in the northern...
Rodi Garganico is a relatively small town in the northern part of the Gargano Peninsula. Although there are tourists, it doesn't feel overcrowded. Also, most of the tourists are Italian. Only a handful of tourists from other nations are to be found. The locals are genuinely nice, the food is great, and although we visited the town the second time this year, we were able to find new restaurants, bars, locations, and have a great time.
There are shops of all sorts, and one can find everything necessary. There are also other nice towns and locations near by, like Pescici and Vieste, or the Lake Varano. Hiking is possible in the not so far Gargano National Park.
The best part of the village is the beachfront, the "Spiagga di Levante". It is protected by the harbor from bigger waves, so the water is very calm and clear. It is perfect for swimming, but for just enjoying the water in general as well.
A nice location is the harbor. Don't be afraid to go and visit it during the night time. There are restaurants, shops and bars which I highly recommend.
Rodi is a town, with whom my biggest problem is the distance from my home town. I hope to visit it next year as well.

A very nice village. Try to stay at the older parts. There is some really good food, and very nice people, however, one could tell, that there are some tourist-oriented action going on.
The location is quiet, but we always found something interesting going on. The umbra forest is just an hour away by car, the beach is rather cheap, and very nice (warm water, animators to take care of you and your children), there are also some shops, and generally, it is not that expensive, as the bigger, more frequent tourist locations generally are.
Exceptionally friendly staff, thank you so much for all your help Antonella, you are a star! Loved the room as it was a single detached unit with a patio. Fantastic location, very close to the centre of Rodi Garganico. We had dinner with live music and enjoyed the talented Michele playing, thank you so much! From the terrace you can see the sea and even walk down to the beach in 10 minutes. We felt at home from the start! Great value.
The breakfast was a nice choice of cereals, fruit and pastries. Coffee was also offered fresh.
The staff were kind and friendly and very helpful with storing our bicycles. The hotel was also very clean. Thank you to the owners for making our stay at your hotel so comfortable and a great introduction to the Gargano Peninsula.
The accommodation is on a beautiful place the most gorgeous view possible.
The owner allowed us to change our booking to a bigger place with a washing machine and dishwasher, of course after we paid the price difference.
They also provided extra sheets, when we requested.
Very good location, with a nice view from the pool and a short walk to the beach. The restaurant is fantastic, several levels above the hotel it self in terms of quality, service and value for money. Even though the hotel it self actually has an ok price.
Location central but quiet: large free car park adjacent. Accommodation small but adequate. Facilities and equipment OK. Roof deck with sea view. Helpful host.
