The scenery alone around the town is well worth a visit and we found friendly and welcoming attitudes from local people. There are numerous walks and cycle tracks which are all the more pleasant due to the surroundings.

Magnificent churches, loads of shopping, fantastic restaurants….if you have to choose just one then choose Alpino Ristorante in Centro Riva. It is worth it to take the lift up to the Bastione - the views are beyond belief.
Very easy to walk around Riva.

Riva del Garda is a wonderful and beautiful place. But the biggest problem is that hotels are very expensive. After a long wait, I traveled in October so that the hotel prices were a little lower. I had a very busy time here and had a lot of fun

It wasn't the pretentious Lake Como, wasn't overly crowded, numerous towns to visit near Riva and was a reasonable drive to the Dolomites to see another side of Italy with Austrian influences. Town center was nice by boat docks and views of lake and mountains.

Loved walking around the town and visiting the castle up on the mountain that you took a tram up to. The view was amazing and we could sit and enjoy it with glass of wine.
We did a nice hike along the lake until it began to rain.

Our stay at this delightful family-run hotel in Riva del Garda was fantastic.
The friendly owners welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home.
The hotel, though small, was very cozy and featured a delicious breakfast each morning. We loved relaxing in the shaded yard and took advantage of the free bicycles to explore the area. Parking was convenient and hassle-free.
We highly recommend this hotel for a warm and enjoyable stay.
A very difficult hotel to rate in the context of an extended tour of notherrn Italy and having stayed in many hotels from small family run businesses to higher quality hotels. The hotel is in a great location within a very short walking distance of the centre, is very modern and spotlessly clean, the rooms are generous in size, quiet and the breakfast is good. The garden is an oasis to relax in.
