Nothing to dislike here. Stayed one night on our way back from Sicily. Great breakfast and very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Good selection of eateries nearby and secure parking. Staff friendly and efficient.

Beautiful building in quiet surroundings well outside the unappetising city of Cosenza. The room was comfortable and quiet, the staff friendly and multilingual. Breakfast was great with a wide ranging choice of sweet and savoury. They are dog friendly. Christmas decorations were a joy to behold.

The location was very convenient to get to the university and local attractions. The place was comfortable and spotless. I loved the room and the general feel of the place. The main road nearby is just a bit noisy because of the traffic, but this is not the B&B owners' fault. The breakfast at the café downstairs was also excellent.
Rende, and Cosenza in general, is not a tourist magnet.
Rende, and Cosenza in general, is not a tourist magnet. It has recently become cleaner (there was a LOT of room for this!), but it is definitely not a place to visit for pleasure. I stay there regularly on my way to and from my home in Malta.

We really enjoy staying in the area around rende in October,...
We really enjoy staying in the area around rende in October, was also quite hot during the day. We stayed near the university but visited Rende old town in the evening, it was very special and magical, with all the valley below it and the lights, the old buildings. We really appreciated the type of historical houses with the special rendering made with mortar and little grey stones. We also visited Marano Marchesato, was a pleasant afternoon walk. We had dinner in a pizzeria and restaurant in Rende, everything was so pleasant and good. The area is lovely with all the valleys and hills and the air smells so fresh and pure, places are quite clean and tidy.

There is no need to come to Cosenza or Rende, really.
There is no need to come to Cosenza or Rende, really. It's a convenient staging post between Salerno and Reggio di Calabria (I stay regularly when on the way home to Malta by car from Northern Europe).

Parco d'Arte AltArt is set in beautiful surroundings.
Parco d'Arte AltArt is set in beautiful surroundings. The room and bathroom we were given were very clean and comfortable. When we arrived in the evening my husband and I were very tired from a long drive. The people at reception were extremely helpful. They gave us everything we needed for breakfast, as we had to leave early the next morning. They helped us carry everything up to our bedroom, and also kindly re-heated a take away pizza we had brought with us for supper, as we were too tired to go out to dinner. They even delivered it to our room to save us having to go down again.
When we were leaving in the morning, a different person at reception made sure that we had had our breakfast and offered us coffee before we left. All in all we left the place with a very good impression and we would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

Rende is out of the way to most places but perfect location...
Rende is out of the way to most places but perfect location to see the area. It is a bit tired and lacking in things tourists are looking for but we managed. Get a timetable for the local buses and be aware it is the centre for the University of Calabria so is full of students in term times. Some excellent places to indulge in pizza and good wine.
The host was very kind. The city was new to me and it was difficult to figure out how to get to the La Villeta guest house from the University of Calabria. Then, she came to pick me up voluntarily. She was very kind. All the services were above my expectations and the house was quiet. It felt like a home away from home.
Finally, I would like to thank the landlord for hosting me nicely. I hope I can come back soon.
Eleonora was really nice and helpful. My flight was late and out of the normal check in time, but she stayed up and constantly checking with me until I arrived in the room. Room is nice and clean and has everything you needed.
Everything went well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is quiet and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The WiFi is good. They are pet friendly and welcome my dog each time I stay.
