She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs.

This is a real nice little private house in a very large park style garden property. Freshly rennovated and very stylish setup. Everything was extra ordinary clean, to a level, I have never experienced before. It was fully equipped with everything you need, including supplies for coffee, tee, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper. We got nice presents for welcome and good bye and in between. I never experienced that level of welcoming and responsiveness and I have stayed in many many hotels over the years. Carlotta, thanks a lot for that!
A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!
Staying at Villa Poseidon is truly a wonderful experience. The house is very modern and equipped with the latest technology, including a retractable awning, automatic shutters, and a hot tub. It is spacious and has an incredible lake view with a private beach to boot. I highly recommend the home.
Porto Valtravaglia, the nearby town, is a quaint sleepy town with incredibly friendly people. It is a small town, yet it has access to ferries during tourist season.
You can prepare your own breakfast and good choice of super market on lumbardy side of the lake. For transport, there is a bus lines operate between Luino and Varase outside the apartment. You can use ferry either at Porto Valtravaglia or Luino to the otherside of Lake Magiore. Very suitable for those who enjoy hiking and outdoor activities in natural environment.
