Great location and close to many little towns great choice of restaurants - but make sure you book in advance. Definitely need a car to get around and be prepared to drive on narrow windy roads! Lots of great beaches around plus a private beach accessed by complimentary boat service by the hotel!
Favourite meal was at La Bricciola and great views from Terraza Frades go for an aperitif and book a high seat at the tables on the terrace!

I didn’t like Porto Cervo. Next time we will stay in Palau. I’m not interested in boutique shopping or pretentious sales clerks. I go on holiday to relax and take it easy. The driving here in town is terrible and parking is limited.

If you are afraid to go here because of the price, don't be. We we're able to visit all the perfect beaches and dinner out everyday and didn't pay a fortune. Just avoid the clubes and places near the Marina.

Feels like a fake town built for rich people to park their yachts and Bentleys in, then go shopping for label goods. No cool bars, boutiques, or lively places. Just endless brand stores and restaurants with white tablecloth service. If you're looking for real Sardinia, look elsewhere.

Porto Cervo was very beautiful. we went there end of April and it was a bit too quiet, not all restaurants, clubs etc were open. however we had the beautiful beaches to ourselves and you can still find other things to do ( wine tasting in the vicinity, rent a boat, horse riding etc.
We had a perfect stay at Hotel Delle Rose. The room was nice, comfy bed, very beautiful bathroom, great shower etc. Nice pools, it wasn’t very crowded, very quiet. The hotel has a very nice design. The personal was always friendly. The location is great - less than 10 minutes with the car to Porto Cervo and to some nice beaches. We will definitely come again soon!
This place is good but could be better. we have travelled all over Sardinia for the past week and this was one of the most expensive places but also one of the most run down. needs a coat of paint and refurbishment, the room smelt of must, I think it was the timber furniture. but it was clean and seemed to have good amenities.
I do appreciate the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. We felt as if we were located in the national park. At the same time a few of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Smeralda were reachable in the walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Overall the staff were very nice, especially the pool bar staff and the cleaning staff. The hotel had a beautiful pool area with incredible views over the beach and was less than 5 minutes drive to Porto Cervo
