The staff is quite ok and helpful, though they don´t speak much English. I would stay in the same hotel again just because of parking. All other hotels have no hotel parking and finding parking in this particular town, is quite an impossible task.

Located on the seafront, Hotel Esperia is in front of its own private beach, a 10-minute walk from Piombino centre. It features an à la carte restaurant serving fresh fish and Tuscan specialities.
We loved the swimming pool (also a little pool for children) and the playground area. Breakfast was nice. The whole agriturismo is in a very quiet location but close to great beaches (Baratti, Rimigliano) and interesting places (Populonia). We appreciated the possibility to see many animals on the farm. One weekend, the staff served pizza for free.
Lovely farm stay for families but probably not for couples. They have lots of facilities for kids - playground, animals, pool, football pitch, and lots of space to run around. The little cottages look nice, have a decent size and the kitchenette has all necessary facilities and utensils. Populonia and Piombino just a short drive away.
The areal was really nice, we could play tenis or table tenis for free. You can bring or borrow the bicycle and go for tours. There is a nice swimming pool, market and ice cream shop. The sand beach is near by car. Near the areal is Populonia train station and markets, pizza and caffeteria. We had a very good time.
Fantastic big apartment on 2 levels!!! 2 rooms plus a beautiful underoof room. A great swimming pool, 3 tennis courts, professional bycicle rent service very efficient. We had one day guided bycycle tour and it was great! Very closed to the most important archeological sites of Populonia. Great!!!
