Although the location is remote, it could be accessed by public transportation. It's literally at the end of the road, a 30+ minute car/bus ride. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I wrote several emails beforehand asking specific questions and Jan always replied quickly.

A very small village in the heart of the Dolomites, very closed to hiking trails and historical villages to visit. I would recommed for people who like to relax, without being surrounded by the crowd.
We loved everything about this hotel. We got one of the studios on the third floor and the view was breathtaking! Rooms are spacious, well equipped with all the facilities and most importantly super clean. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but you can ask for it, you can also order bread or croissants which are provided in the mornings if you do not wish to have breakfast. We had pizza in the restaurant and it was also very nice.
It is a beautiful location close to the mountaintop. You can start many walks right from the hotel and enjoy the scenery.
The appartement is simple yet sufficient.
Staff is friendly. It is possible to eat a pizza in the hotel restaurant at night.
