Fantastic place to stay, peaceful and tranquil. Wonderful family run hotel, the family took exceptional care of us and their hospitality was first class. Lovely Mountain View’s and a nice good size swimming pool with loungers etc, and nice view to the mountains. Spotlessly clean hotel and an excellent store on site. The optional evening meal, traditional Italian,is a must and was delicious and great value. Nice little town just a few minutes drive up the road and we’ll situated to Isola Del Gran Saso and the mountains for hiking/cycling etc. Highly recommended. Excellent value.

The hosts - papa Giovanni and all the family Trasatti - are exceptionally very friendly and helpful, they really took care of us like grandparents (i nonni) do. Starting from check-in, they were patient to wait for us till after midnight due to our flight delay and we found a nice welcome drink on the table; during our entire stay they were ready to instantly answer our questions; when we encountered a problem with our car, they assisted us to manage a car-repair service in the village within an hour. And we never forget the farewell chat with them in the garden drinking vino cotto.
The house is located at the calm end of a small town, just below the ridge of south-east Appennino abruzzese - you can enjoy the view of the mountains from the garden that is, by the way, equipped beyond expectations (gridiron, vine-roofed table, small pool, small climbing wall... ;-). And Campo Imperatore and Corno Grande are within easy reach, 30-45 mins of drive. The apartment we lived in is very comfortable for 2-3 people.
