The host Alessandra is very welcoming and accomodating. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. Good value for money. Alzo is a nice town more easily reached by car but we managed with ferries and the local bus. The bus stop is 100 meters away and Pella is really close - you just have to get down a bit.
Located in the most popular square in the historic centre of Orta San Giulio, Hotel Leon D'Oro features 2 sun terraces with views of Lake Orta and San Giulio Island.

The lakeside location of this hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the town and close to restaurants and shops. It has a restaurant which serves very good food and has an extensive, if somewhat expensive, wine list. It is a comfortable establishment. The information that was supplied about the town's limited traffic zone was comprehensive and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace, Hotel Madonna di Luciago is situated in Armeno in the Piedmont Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and Orta Lake is 5 km from the hotel.

Bathroom recently renewed, breakfast was amazing with large choice of cakes, fruits, and savory options. The hotel staff was superkind and we felt welcome and pampered.

We stayed in Alzo, part of Pella apparently, but its own little village up the hill somewhat on the west side of Lago d'Orta. The square looks over the lake: fantastic view with a small village feeling. Post office, lodging choices, church, dining (Osteria del Gallo), bank, all a short drive down to Pella or up more to the homes and sights high above.

Host and service lady are very nice, even prepared a chocolate cake for us. The house is cozy, nicely decorated and a unique experience. Location is calm with incredible view over the lake, still not far from Pella and a perfect starting point for hikes. Try it out, you will not regret it!
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Sabina and Javier are great hosts. The restaurant is outstanding, offering authentic Piemontese dishes and a good selection of local wine. Definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic location at the lakes edge and between two nearby ferry stops. Easy to get to Orta San Giulio by ferry while being able to enjoy a more peaceful time a little off the main tourist trail in Pella.
very nice hotel. high value amenities. top location. nice and helpful staff. very nice breakfast, nice restaurant with good chef. nice pool - although to public as in front of reception.
We all enjoyed this hotel. It was perfect to have all members of the family stay in the same 3 BR "apartment".
Location is perfect. Nice restaurants in this small village.
