We loved our stay with Winnie and David. We were their only guests that night and they guided us through an authentic Italian dinner with cuisine specific to the area. Winnie is very knowledgeable and passionate about Italy and David educated us about the different wines that we experienced. They are willing to share their knowledge and are very easy to talk with.
Breakfast was scrumptious, the room was generously spaced, we had everything we needed, and they even sent us on our way with information about where to buy the best parmesan cheese in town.
Our time at Cherry House was a highlight of our trip to Italy. If we are ever in Northern Italy, we will absolutely be booking a stay at Cherry House.

Our family suite was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the sweet and savory breakfast offerings. Shopping, restaurants and a short hike to an old fort is within walking distance from the hotel. Hiking and activities in and around Monte Cimone are just a short drive away. If you see a lovely older gentleman with a photo book of himself with family and a Ferrari, stop and have a chat with him and you'll discover the connection to the watches and the engine in the lobby!

It was clean and modern looking for a property in a small village. The restaurant had an excellent selection and the food was excellent. The room was small but for a one overnight stay they were adequate, however the shower was very small. Free parking upfront was available which was good after paying parking at every hotel we stayed at. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is really in the centre of Pavullo. As I was hiking the "via Vandelli", it is basically located 5 metres away from the end of the second leg.
A part from the hike, it is really close to all highlights of Pavullo.
The place is clean, and the fact that you've got a restaurant just there can be handy, if you don't have the time to look for one.
It is also probably the cheapest accomodation in Pavullo.
I stayed at the Hotel Ferro di Cavallo for six nights in July and I was made to feel very welcome. The staff were so friendly, in particular Cinzia (I hope I have spelt that correctly). My room was spacious and very clean, with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was good, with a wide range of choices - I would especially recommend the amaretti cake :) I look forward to staying again on my next trip to Pavullo.
So much was misrepresented from the photos and description, so there wasn't much we could recommend about this rental. The hotels in town are probably more consistent and reliable with their descriptions.
