Fabiano and Maria Rosa are so friendly and the hospitality they gave me was truly exemplary, such kind and gentle people you could ever wish to ask for . I arrived very late in the evening and it was no trouble for them to open up their kitchen and make me a wonderful antipasti plate of local goods and serve me some home made wine. Incredible host and their lovely dog Argo is very well behaved and very sweet. Room was spotless and good value and everything you needed was there, it’s a charming modest little Locanda and does exactly what you want it to and more due to the incredible hospitality given by Fabiano and Maria Rosa I look forward to my return Chris PS WiFi was great as there was limited phone signal in the building/village

this is a beautifuly built and decorated facility. It has lots of parking (which was important to me). I never read the reviews until just before leaving and one concerned me. However I was staying in the town during Easter Monday after visiting the UNESCO site nearby. I was the only visitor booked for the night and thankfully the host called me at 16.15 to arrange to meet. It is designed to be self check in really. I had been outside and given how that was maintained, I wondered if the facility had been abanoned. It has to be said that the room was AMAZING, the shower OUT OF THIS WORLD and the common areas were charming.

No passing hotel trend has touched this place, a family owned and run hotel and restaurant with loads of character, a lifetime's collection of artefacts and art on the walls, great cooking at dinner and a decent breakfast. The property is secluded and very pretty. Everything was extra clean including the pool. A great place to stay if you’re roadtripping. THE FOOD everything was delicious and very generous a relaxing dinner with traditional meals cooked all homemade by the owner. We loved Casa Piras. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our host Marinella was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed for the night. The breakfast had a homey feeling and we loved it. Marinella had even prepared biscuits and an apple cake for our breakfast. There is also a very nice yard with decorations and places to sit. I would definitely recommend staying here.
