You needed a car. The garden setting was OK, but the mosquitoes could enter everywhere except the bedroom, which had the only flyscreen. The covered parking across the road was good.
We loved the photos, but they were very old and did NOT depict the apartment as it is in 2024.

Everything was very good. The breakfast was hearty and tasty, with something new from the local cuisine added every day. The hotel staff were very, very friendly, responsive, anticipated our wishes and needs and provided full support to make our stay comfortable: ordering a taxi, organizing late check-out, booking excursions and restaurants, etc. What impressed me most was when specially for My daughter had her breakfast time extended as she only woke up 5 minutes after the official breakfast time ended. The hotel has its own beach, and a special shuttle runs from and to the beach every hour. Also there is an another shuttle runs from and to Tropea several times an day.

Lovely quiet little town very close to bustling Tropea. Parghelia is perfect for those looking to walk to numerous beaches, some of which are the best in Europe, such as the Spiaggia Michelino which is 5 minute walk from Parghelia. By night, Tropea is only 3 minutes drive, which is a perfect Italian town full of bars, restaurants, shop and of course plenty of history and ancient architecture.
The village centre is most certainly the Bar Pepe' which offers the best coffee, gelato, drinks from 6am through to 2am in the summer months. Many activities are held in this village in the summer season, including festivals, markets and religious events. The village also offers all amenities including grocery stores, chemists and corner shops with amazing fresh produce daily such as bread and cheese from the surrounding farms. Picking up sandwiches for the beach is must!
Parghelia is accessible by train from LaMezia airport and very walkable for short stays, using the odd taxi to visit Tropea in the evenings. For longer stays, renting a car is advisable to make the most of the surrounding area.

A small friendly safe place with everything we needed for our holiday - a couple of local shops, cafes and excellent restaurants. You can walk to the wonderful Michelino Beach and it’s a very short drive into the historic town of Tropea.

Parghelia is a lovely small village very close to the touristy Tropea. In fact one can see Tropea from Parghelia. It is quiet, yet charming with a few wonderful restaurants and friendly people. Would rather stay here than Tropea. Easy to walk anywhere in Parghelia. Recommend Villino Eleonora to stay as a lovely property with a wonderful family and host, Alessandro.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had in Italy: huge selection of everything and top quality produce. Spectacular sea view from the breakfast terrace. Clean modern spacious rooms. Excellent internet connection. Friendly helpful staff. This is not a huge hotel so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Only 10 minutes by car to Tropea but plenty of lovely beaches and restaurants locally.
We had a ground floor room with a nice private garden space.
Very friendly staff at pousada café which is across the street. You can get drinks and pizza or salad. Wonderfull scenery with cliffs and beaches. Sea is crystal clear. Walking distance from Tropea (or 5min car ride or 1 train stop) but would preffer Parghelia next time too - it is calmer and the beach is even nicer.
Clean large room, great shower, super friendly host(s), nice balcony, and super breakfast! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but we could have spend a week here. Host had great tips for restaurants. The beach of Parghelia and Tropea are within walking distance. We had a perfect stay.
Brilliant absolutely went above and beyond to help me from airport and deal with it. The value is exceptional for such a beautiful place. Cannot recommend this hotel enough and staff were first class.
