Old buildings top floor transformed into apartments, in the very middle of Palmanova, nearby my favourite café Torinese (unfortunately closed during my stay).
Well equipped, but very small too. Opening a full size baggage is a challenge.

A great immersion in a rinascimento fortress, the state of preservation is astonishing. It's the "only" thing to see, but a walk around the fortress can last a solid couple of hours, and you can walk back and forth the different defensive structure to try to understand their specific role in the city defense!
I recommend a stay at the Hotel Ai Doggi, as per eating Al Gambero was a super friendly place!

Interesting city with special zoning.
Interesting city with special zoning. The city is an old military area and the map is like a star. We were pleased when we decided to come here. We stayed only one night together with the Finnish travel blogger Finintirol but like it a lot. The place was quiet, beautiful and a little different.

The accommodation was well located, easy to find. The hotel was modern and pleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was surprisingly large and the bathroom was good as well.
The breakfast was - fortunately - not just a typical Italian breakfast, but also included cold cuts, cheese and vegetables. The coffee was delicious - but that's not surprising in Italy :-) The staff at the breakfast was very welcoming as well.
There are many shops and eating places around the accommodation.

This is the most amazing apartment run by an incredibly friendly and helpful family. It couldn’t be more convenient for the piazza centrale in Palmanova. We had a wonderful breakfast every day at the cafeteria Torino with freshly baked croissant, excellent coffee and fresh orange juice. Palmanova itself is a real gem of a unesco world heritage site and a great place to visit.
Charming small hotel in the old town. Spotless clean rooms with fresh towels, toiletries, strong wifi, great breakfast in a nice terrace. Free parking in front of hotel. Definitely not a 2-star hotel, it is a great 3-star hotel. Thank you for all!
Localisation (close to Palmanova—UNESCO ideal city) in a very quiet rural area. The rooms were very comfy. The Wi-Fi was very fast. The food offered by the hosts was very tasty. The parking lot was in front of the house, in a fenced-off area.
Location (we were there for Palmanova half marathon), stuff at the reception desk (they offer us late check out in order to take the shower after the run), room with square view
