This hotel was a one night stop during our road trip through Sicily. The hotel is clean and in an excellent location. It is on a busy street but we could not hear the traffic and is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Palermo. Plenty of restaurants around the area too. We parked our car in an underground garage about 150 metres from the hotel for about 15 Euro for 24 hours.

The staff were great, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really comfortable. Plus the location was ideal for the train station, airport shuttle bus and the centre of town, all were about 10-15 minutes away from the hotels front door. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Edgy and eclectic, Palermo is a symbol of all that Sicily stands for. From buzzing Vespas to the bustling Vucciria market, it simply brims with life.
Wonderful Palermo Cathedral glows radiantly in the Mediterranean sun. Nearby is the city’s last Sicilian Puppet Theatre, and opposite is a palm-filled park housing Roman mosaics, though the best are in the archaeological museum. At one end is the Norman Palace, a government building home to the fabulous Cappella Palatina whose gold mosaics are absolutely breathtaking.
Equally magnificent are the gold mosaics lining 12th-century Monreale Cathedral on the city’s outskirts. Wander the cloisters and note the varying columns and capitals – each pair is different.
Palermo also has fascinating churches: 2 of the oldest are 12th-century San Giovanni degli Eremeti and San Cataldo, each with red, Islamic-style domes. Gesú Church has an incredible Sicilian Baroque interior, while La Martorana’s frescoes are awe-inspiring. A street away is Quattro Canti, a crossroads with a fountain at each corner.
Other attractions include round Teatro Massimo, Mondello beach and Monte Pellegrino mountain overlooking the sea. You get fabulous views of this picnic spot as you fly into Palermo Airport before heading to your Booking.com accommodation.

Great historic city but don't expect people to follow road rules. We nearly got cleaned up by cars not stopping to give way to pedestrians on cross walks. Cars parked illegally on cross walks, very untidy city, etc.
However, location near rail station (Plermo central) was perfect. Nex time I would ask if there are more than two steps to climb or if there is an elevator and a bathroom inside the apartment.

When you visit Palermo you have a good mix of culture and sea. The local beach Mondello is 30 minutes by bus and is lovely. There is so much to see in the city and you walk a lot! Monreale cathedral is a bus journey away and is so beautiful but the churches in Palermo are beautiful too. We ate well and you have a choice of restaurants or street food. It is not the cleanest of cities but you accept that for what it is.

We loved visiting Palermo, easy to walk around, with lots of good bars and restaurants. We tended to stay away from the restaurants in the historic area as we felt they were a bit “touristy”. We did do a wine tasting at a bar called Bottega Monteleone which was was great, each wine was lovely and well explained.
We would also recommend the No Mafia walking tour as it was so interesting and the guide was amazing.
The hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and host. The place was a happy respite coming from major cities in Italy like Rome and Naples. The free breakfast and pastries were so great to have included. They also helped arrange for a driver to come pick us up from the airport and bring us to the B&B. They were so nice! This was the 9th place we have stayed on our journey across Italy ending with the 5 days in Sicily.
This is a fantastic apartment located 2 mins walk from main road in Palermo, the street has many high end designer shops! Apartment is very secure and in a safe area. Host was very helpful and assisted us with some query’s regarding transport back to airport, great communication. Public transport is very near and reliable but Palermo is probably best discovered on foot. We would stay here again! ENJOY SICILY!
Location was the best. It was only 20 metres from the maim street. Plus 300m from the Teatro Massimo. Breakfast was okay and was what was expected. We slept okay but the mattress could have been thicker. However, it higher star rated hotels we were in the beds were not any better. It must be standard in Sicily.
This boutique hotel is suited in an authentic Palermo community. Friendly area and very accessible to the Cathedral and main district. Our host was lovely and gave us lots of advice about Palermo including the best Arancine and Canollo! A tranquil stay. We highly recommend it and it books fast for good reason.
We travelled across Sicily & Italy and this was by far the best breakfast we had in the whole holiday. The host is very attentive, the apartment was nice and clean. It was only a 10 minute walk to the old town. We took a train from the airport which was an excellent service.
