A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!

Oggebbio, or maybe we should say Gonte (Oggebbio is the administrative name of a regroupement of several small villages) is a very nice place to spend a few days in total relax. It's very well placed on the west coast of the Lago Maggiore, between Cannero and Cannobbio (10 to 15 minutes driving up north) and Intra or Stresa (15. to 25 minutes south). The village is very nice and the view over the lake is unique!
We are pleased to say, that was a wonderful experience in the Hotel! The place was beautiful and gardens were fantastic!!
The staff was friendly and the waitress Laura is one of the best we ever had!!
The quality of the food was excellent and we bought olive oil and wine back home.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to visit Lago Maggiore!!
Casa Briscida is a very comfortable house. It is fully equipped and the garden has the most fantastic view over Lago Maggiore. There are several spots that offer some shade, each with a table and chairs to enjoy an outside meal or some drinks.
Whe had contact with the owner only through Whatsapp. The communication was swift, clear and friendly.
The location is exceptional. The staff were very kind, friendly and cooperative. The view is extraordinary looking directly at "il lago maggiore".

The room was big and had a balcony that we enjoyed a lot, the view is beautiful and the personal is really kind. The restaurant is near and you can rent boats in the hotel, so it was great. We enjoyed our stay in Lago Maggiore.
