The old architecture is well kept and it is well worth a visit.
Restaurant Civico 27 is a bit pricey but the service and food is amazing.

I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on...
I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on entry. The apartment was on the last floor with no lift access. It wasn’t anywhere near the centre. Went for a walk to get some food. Everything was closed. Lucky after a very long walk to find a pizza place. The shower was so small you could move much without hitting the very poorly installed plastic doors. Very disappointed.

Clean, spacy apartment close to city center. You do not to use public transport to reach city center. It is just 5 - 10 minutes walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped. There is plenty of public park space around. It is easy to find the location and easy self check-in. The host is great, answers all questions immediately. We know the address to stay when we are back to Novara.
The hotel is right in the core center of Novara, so you can walk anywhere you want. It’s also really close to the station in case you want to take the train to Milan or anywhere else. The architecture of the place is really cute and historical, which is a real plus.
And the staff at the reception is really nice !
