Hotel was fabulous and the owner speaks very good English. it was a stop off point for the rest of our trek. Off season and everything is closed except 1 restaurant and it was raining which is why my rating was low for overall experience but the hotel room was huge with a balcony, dark shades, immaculate and a balcony.

The location is amazing as a home-base for trekking. There are so many beautiful trails nearby, and easy bus access right out front to other trails. We did a 5 day trek and the hosts very kindly let us leave our excess luggage without any issue or additional fee. They contacted us mid hike to share the easiest bus route for returning. Overall, a really wonderful experience staying here!

If the big touristic centres are not for you, but you still striving for a good quality of winter sports - Nova Levante/Carezza is an ideal place for you.
Plus of location - not to far from Bolzano, which might be handy (e.g. there they have a hospital).
Another nice locations for downhill skiing nearby - Obereggen. Or if you like it "intensive and grand" - Sellaronda.
It was exactly the location we were searching for - outside city/village but just few minutes by car from ski lift in Nova Levante. Angerle Hof is an excellent base also for hiking excursions and we might get back here in the summer. The host was very helpful and any requests or inquiries were immediately responded to (we were also offered the bread service and local products). Apartment is spacious and well equipped with breathtaking view on surrounding mountains :). We really enjoyed our stay at Angerle Hof!
We had a great time! Hotel is not very big, but it is super clean which was very important to me.! Our room was very spacious, bright and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and tasty. What I liked the most was freshly squeezed orange juice.
Sauna can be used but reservation is required.
Our overall experience is very positive and we would definitelly recommend this hotel.
Scenery around the Hotel is very picturesque. There are two restaurants very close by within walking distance. There is a nice stream behind the property. The Hotel Manager is a very nice person.
Excellent service, home made high quality food. Exceptional cleanliness. Wonderful family running the hotel. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Thank you All!
