For us it was perfect. If you want to walk to the centre in the evening it is not the right hotel to stay in. I would suggest you need a car to do day trips to places. I think there are plans for a swimming pool so then you could stay in the resort all day. Very spacious clean rooms. It is beautiful with a mountain backdrop, orange groves. Beautiful food. Just an enchanting experience.

Muravera is a real place, not a tourist trap.
Muravera is a real place, not a tourist trap. The traffic goes through the middle and the pavements are not very wide, but the bars and restaurants have friendly people and the local beaches are lovely. We ate out at al Portico, had drinks at the Paderi Bar, and found all we needed for shopping at the supermarket in town. If you want Sunday lunch at the beach - book in advance! It gets filled up really fast.

A small town at the south-east beach, Muravera as the town is not to be recommended too much, not bad but nothing special there. There are many much nicer towns or cities at Sardinia. But we had a nice accommodation near Muravera and the beaches are very nice at this location, sandy and not deep, ideal for children.

Muravera is a lovely small town which is easy to explore on foot. It is not a big tourist destination, however this was a positive for us as it felt like we were able to experience the real Sardinia. It’s quaint and narrow streets add to its character. There are a couple of good restaurants that can easily be walked to in the evenings, as well as a variety of small shops, pizzerias and supermarkets. We were lucky to visit in August whilst there were festival celebrations being held. The whole place came alive in the evenings with traditional dancing In the square, which made our time there even more enjoyable. Muravera is also very well located to explore the lovely local beaches, including Costa Rei. I would, however recommend a hire car if this is the plan.
Very charming place to stay in the heart of Muravera. Our room was wonderfully air conditioned, and was perfectly adequate for our needs as we really were out all day and just came back to sleep in the evenings! It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely rustic feel. What really made the place was the host, Mauro, a super friendly guy who made us feel very welcome and produced an amazing spread for breakfast each morning! We really enjoyed staying here. We only wish we could have spoken better Italian to be able to converse more with him!
If you like sitting on the beach and doing nothing else, it’s a great place for you (long walks along the beach are also possible).
The hotel was modern and the room was great, beds are really huge and comfortable.
The chef is really passionate about the food and some nights were absolutely fantastic, especially the Ferragosto one. Good choice for a healthy diet (if you manage to resist to unlimited wine at mealtimes or a large portion ice - cream).
A bar team (Fabio and a lady) is all smiles and friendly.
A peaceful stay among the orange trees, with a basket full of sweet oranges waiting for us.
We stayed in the bungalow and had a fully equipped kitchen to make our own meals when we wanted, and a coffee maker. Linen and towels were of very high quality. Only 1km from Muravera, so we walked there to get our supplies of amaretto cookies and fresh produce. Good communication to get there, quiet even when things are going bonkers in town with the orange festival.
Marco, the owner was a great guy, he helped us with averything we needed. We came on 4 motorbikes and it suited us very well. The location is very quite and great for trips to south/north/west of Sardegna!
