What an incredible, beautiful place this is! Family owned and run in tranquil stunning gardens. We loved our stay here, will stay longer next time! Delicious food in atmospheric surroundings and happy, professional staff. Beautiful rooms, very tastefully integrated into this medieval castle.

I appreciated the hot water offered for tea at breakfast. The location is lovely and there are plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance. The bed sheets were cotton and that makes all the difference!

The staff was friendly (they actually gave as a tour to the castle's rooms and gave as a brief history). Having breakfast at the terrace and gazing the beautiful scenery on a sunny spring morning, definitely added to the value of our stay !
This is our 2nd stay at Castello di Monterado, and we love it. For a complete experience and feel of the place, one should try to have a room within the castle, but we appreciate the apartment with a washing machine as we’ve been on the road for a few days. Aperitif at golden hours in the garden was relaxing. During the warmer seasons, the hotel offers dinner which we enjoyed very much.
We used Castello Di Monterado as a stop-by on our journey back home from south Italy and I wish we would be able to stay couple days more. It was an awesome experience. Park around the castle, swimming pool, turtles and especially long swing brought full of joy to whole family. Breakfast was super nice, but the view from the dining area was marvelous
The Castel is a beautiful and magical place. All the staff and the host Orlando are extremely friendly and helpful. The ambience, the equipment and the quality are exceptionally high and luxurious. Castello di Monterado is definitely the best place to stay in the region. You feel at home among friends.
