Hotel I Due Cigni, hotel in Montepulciano

The hotel is new or it seems new, the rooms are very clean, good water pressure, fresh smell throughout the hotel, free and convenient parking right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is buffet style, nice variety of sweet and salty options, the cheese was in particular divine. But what I would definitely have to say apart from other hotels is the joie de vivre of the receptionist, Niccolo if I m not wrong. Hardly have I seen such a joyful man, not to mention a front desk person. He really made our day, providing useful information about the region and restaurants where to eat. Chapeau bas for his friendly attitude and the abilty of memorizing everybody's names. You feel like a part of their family and this matters a lot.

Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano, hotel in Montepulciano

Overlooking the Tuscan countryside from an altitude of 600 metres, Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano has a large garden and an outdoor pool with hydromassage .

very nice view, spacious room and comfy beds. The breakfast is nothing special just prepacked food, nothing fresh. Only one downside, we did the self-check-in and the instructions in the message were not super clear. I called the staff to get further info and the lady at the phone was rude. I think they should improve on this.

    Picturesque, clean, friendly.

Picturesque, clean, friendly. This medieval city boasts bars, restaurants and of course many wine tastings. Two nights is about right, but more if you want to see the surrounding area. A good home base for southern Tuscany.

I found Montepulciano to be one of the most interesting in Tuscany. It is very steep but the views are not to be missed. The winery's there are very unique. Don't miss their underground tours. The restaurants were top notch! I'm still craving the truffle pasta that I enjoyed there.

Once you've worked out how to get up to the centre it's great - my father has limited mobility, but we found disabled parking near the tourist office and the bus stop for the bus to take us up, it was all good.

Montepulciano was a charming and picturesque town that exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of local specialties to try. We loved exploring the winding streets and discovering hidden gems. The wine bars were a highlight, offering fantastic selections of local wines. Beautiful walled town with a very interesting undergound city history. We did a fantastic wine tour with Talosa (one of the oldest in the city) through Viator. Just outside the city walls there is an amazing local spot called Pizzeria Rosticceria Linda where we had pasta and pizza! We were the only tourists there. It is very quiet in the evening wondering the streets with little to no tourists. I wouldn't spend the night here again unless I did a little more research into the night life.

I spend few weeks in North and Central Italy and this apartment was the best for me (comparing similar or bigger prices). It is located in old city, but in quiet area. It is after renovation. Very nice design. It was new but still with old soul (especially ceilings). It was well equipped - coffee machine and some sweet Italian breakfast kit. Very comfortable bed. Nice and friendly host with good contact.

Lovely place to stay far enough away to give a real feeling of a property in Italy. Everything is there that you could need and the view with a coffee from the excellent coffee machine is awesome. Gianni is an excellent host on hand to help if needed.
