Rooms were very clean and staff were very nice and helpful. As our group informed hotel staff in advance that we would be unable to make it in time for breakfast in the morning, staff was able to arrange packed lunches for us instead and provided to us at time of check in. Very close to Lake Braies - 15 mins drive only.

The property is family owned and rooms are newly remodeled. The family staff take great pride in their place and their hospitality. The bathroom was literally gleaming. There was a balcony with lounge chairs and a mountain and castle view. It is quiet, well decorated, very comfortable beds. They provide a bottle of spring water. Get it with half board as you are in the countryside with no restaurants or plan ahead. The food is all made from scratch, fresh, and tasty. There is only one item per course. The salad bar was lovely and varied. We only stayed one night but would return happoo up by. Everything was very nice.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel central to the town and places in the Dolomites. We had dinner every night and it was tasty, good value for money. The staff were so very helpful. I left my passport there and they kept it for me to pick up. We had a car but we also used the great shuttles. A great location for Lake Braies and Tre Cimes a highlight of our 6 week holiday in Italy.

The location of Hotel Hell was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Lago di Braies early next morning. The lake is just a 20 minute drive.
