Absolutely fantastic hotel. I think the best value for money I have ever experienced. The photos don't do it justice! The rooms are recently renovated and done really well. We stayed in Family room which was two separate double rooms but connected with a door inside so it was absolutely perfect. The whole place was super clean. The food was excellent. The village is also really interesting but quiet at the same time and you get a lovely view of the castle from the hotel. Will definitely come back. 10/10 for everything!

We took our dog and stayed one night, en route to the Ancona port.
Our dog was stressed from the journey and refused to walk up the stairs to our room. Roberta just changed the booking and have us a ground floor room instead.
There is no evening meal at this location, but Roberta showed us all of the local restaurant possibilities. One of these had a collection service. I don't speak Italian, so Roberta ordered the meal for me and then drove me to the restaurant to collect it. Above and beyond expectations. The kindness and hospitality here is second to none.
Many of the reviews on here mentioned Roberta's home made cakes at breakfast. This proved to not be surprising, as she is an excellent baker!
A lovely place to stay for longer next time.

I appreciated the hot water offered for tea at breakfast. The location is lovely and there are plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance. The bed sheets were cotton and that makes all the difference!

This is a traditional family owned hotel. We spent one week and though we are common to higher standards we were very pleased due to the friendly staff.
There is a restaurant connected to the hotel which has great and delicious food and wine.

Whilst Mondavio is small and a little sleepy, for a short break or as a base with a hire car it's perfect. It's safe, parking is free and plentiful. There are enough bars and restaurants to keep you occupied. If you're not renting a car, you can get there by public transport and would be quite self-sufficient.
We walked to a little supermarket to stock up on provisions whilst we were there. Food and bars are excellent, and much more reasonable than the UK.
Loved visiting the castle and the theatre and walking around the ramparts.

Amazing host. Helpful, attentive, kind.
There are restaurants and bars a five to ten minute drive away. The one we used had a pick-up menu.
The host helped with the telephone order and also with collection.
Roberta, our host is a really lovely person, could not be more helpful, she's also a very good Baker and makes cakes for breakfast!

The location is brilliant. We flew to Ancona and rented a car. It's a 35 minute drive to Mondavio so no stress is involved. Parking was super easy. Room small but perfect for our needs. The restaurant was amazing, the food is superlative and had flexible choices. We loved the pizzas in the evening too. Views incredible. Village beautiful. Staff caring and lovely. We felt instantly at home. The village is beautiful as are the surroundings so much to see and do, and we love the coast there too.
Well situated in front of Mondavio’s castle. Very nice bedroom and top notch bathroom. Better than some 4* hotels.
The property also has a bar and good restaurant. It’s cozy with a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was ñ really good as well. They also accomodated us with a third bed for my 12 year old son for free.
Nice modern hotel in front of Mondavio’s impressive fortifications and tower. Excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. Parking very easy to find in the immediate vicinity.
