The location is very quiet and comfortable: no problem with the parking, silent room and very easy to reach Torino and the highway. the staff is very kind and they did their best for making our stay, including check in and check out, one of the best we ever had.
Breakfast was prepared at once as we arrived a bit earlier and food and beverages were first quality.

Moncalieri is 15-20 minutes by train to Torino so a bit more reasonable than in the city. It is a small borgo and is very quiet in August when most Italians are on holidays. We used it as a base for doing day trips and visiting the sights in Torino. It has a beautiful couple of churches and a nice piazza with several good restaurants. It is also a good base for day trips to wine country and the mountains.
We didn't have a car so used the train to get out of town and walked everywhere else. You can walk (a long walk) from Moncalieri to Torino through Parco Valentino. It is a lovely forested walk along the river Po into the city. Torino is a beautiful and vibrant city.
