Milazzo is an underrated city. It offers the benefits of crystal clear beaches to swim at as well as fantasic authentic Sicilian cuisine. We much preferred the beaches in Milazzo than in Taormina where they are hard to access, mostly tourist traps and packed with overpriced beach clubs. Milazzo has some great historic value with plenty to see including its own castle, one of the most beautiful churches up on a mountain cliff (Tindari) and some great local, authentic Sicilian cuisine that isn't overpriced or a copy/paste tourist trap like some of the other more commercialized cities. I have been there twice in the last 15 years and every time I've been I've always regretted not staying there longer. Next time we travel to Italy we will be basing ourselves here and exploring more of Sicily and southern Italy.

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar!
We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close.
And there was a wonderful 🐢 who loved to be massaged by the proprietor.., and a handsome Husky dog! All Bueno!

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

This was the best b&b we had during our Sicily trip!
The rooms were quiet, super clean, the location is a 5' walk to the beach with crystal clear water and a 15' walk to Milazzo center and the hosts are giving everything to make feel you at home (with success!)
Restaurant recommendations and reservations to the best places, day trips to the islands and the breakfast they're serving is second to none! We had brekkie every day on our balcony with amazing choices and we would return anytime!
What an extremely well run, friendly, helpful and very reasonably priced hotel!
The manager, Mario, greeted us like family, arranging everything we needed and even parking our car free of charge while we settled into our room which was modern, well appointed and immaculately clean.
He also gave us excellent travel advice for our day trip to the islands and the best places to see in Milazzo.
We have only warm memories of our days there.
The accommodation is new, we'll equipped, nice and everything works. It is spacious, too. It is clean. There is a parking garage opposite of the street where you can park your car for 15€ a day. The harbor is close by, so you can easily do a day trip to the Aeolian Islands.
