Mariano was fantastic, but the property was too far from my day trip destination.
In Fondo center, Lady Maria has easy access to public transportation around town and to Passo della Mendola ski area 4 miles away. Its spa includes an indoor pool and Turkish bath.

We had a delightful stay at this quaint, small hotel. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The front desk host, who also doubled as the bartender, made the best Negroni I’ve ever had and greeted us with a glass of Prosecco upon our arrival—such a lovely touch!
The drive to the hotel was beautiful, setting the tone for a relaxing getaway. In the evening, we dined at their restaurant. While it was a bit overpriced, the meal was absolutely delicious, making it worth the splurge. Overall, we found the experience to be of great value for the price. We would definitely consider returning!

The hotel is well situated in Mendola, with the charm of the region and happily welcomes bikers. No dinner at the hotel but the restaurant just a few meters next to the hotel is a good choice (great staff, I liked the old lady).
