A very large and comfortable apartment, fully equipped with a kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room that can accomodate an entire family. The property is located in the village of Massarosa, midway between the gorgeous city of Lucca and the beaches of Viareggio, on the edge of a field with several greenhouses where the owners grow flowers all the year long. It's a quiet and rural location where guests can rest in a home-like atmosphere after a busy day spent exploring the region. Finally the price: reasonable and quite competitive.

Massarosa is a small semi rural community in the Lucca region. The local people are very friendly and take pride in their village. The location is close to Lucca and the Viareggio coast. La Spezia and the Cinque Terra are also a short trip on the Autostrada.
just 5 mins off the autostrada this personal hotel/home was a very lovely find. owned by a renowned artist and his delightful wife the house is a treasure trove. the bedrooms luxuriously furnished, bathroom huge and warm and a gorgeous living room to use. great mattress meant a good nights sleep. breakfast felt like a feast, homemade and locally sourced products adorn the beautifully dressed table. definitely going to ensure our return drive to Greece passes through so we can stop there again.
Massarosa is a great place to stay with easy access to locations in Toscany, to the sea and even areas like Liguria with the beautiful Cinque Terre. Case Vacanza further is a great "home base" that allows you to enjoy your trips, and perhaps also take it easy a few days, especially as there is a pool and the garden is spacious and well-kept. A great house, with cute interiors in a great area and with Mauro a great, supportive host.
Great place. We booked it like a treat for only one night stay on our trip around Italy. A bit pricier for us. But we loved it. Great self check in. All you need is there. Option to have BBQ, just buy your coal (we found one in the local shop). It is all yours to enjoy. In a little charming town. We were worried it would be too hot in the tent, but even in this summer heat, we had great sleep.
This is more than a family run B&B. This is a gem of a hotel! The attention to detail, their honest desire to help you have an excellent stay where nothing to too much trouble, including the facilities made for a superb experience which was hard to leave. Lena and Alessandro have created a truly special place. We can’t wait to return!
This wonderful family run hotel is a gem. Alessio and Chiara made our stay so special. The little touches and attention to detail are perfect and show the love they have for their hotel. Well located for attending the Puccini opera with only a short drive. Thank you 😊
