Friendly reception with the suite in which we stayed in one of the annex buildings. The building is very authentic with a nice view on the surroundings. The village is very quiet, but that is good to unwind. Nature surroundings are very nice. Breakfast was well prepared with hotel manager preparing the tasty scrambled eggs at the buffet. Bathroom was renovated and good.

Antico Borgo I Cancelli's location and amenities are wonderful, though the location is for a quiet nature retreat with oneself, loved ones, or family. My only regret was I did not have the time to really enjoy the facilities and location because I spent my time at the MotoGP. If you are looking for a busy vacation, this is not the location for you.
The on-site restaurant had great local food and beverages, as well as, a great staff. We don't know if we will get back to the area, but if we do, we will definitely look into staying again.

We went there for the 'Chestnut event' (Festa della Castagna). Amazing taste of chestnut based produce, from cakes to pasta to desserts. Marradi is a very pretty little village. We are glad a lot of people attended, as this is truly a great event! Marradi is one of the little towns that make this part of Tuscany a truly beautiful experience!
