We had a very nice stay at the property. We had a room in part of the house, so it feels like you are renting a house, not a hotel room. Everything was clean and maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly - every minor issue we had got resolved very fast. At breakfast we where served plenty of food. The area is a gated, so it feels very safe. Had car parked just outside the house. Oh, and there are nice cats to pass your time at the breakfast, the area is rural, far from big city, closest public transport is about 15-20 min walking away. So in all, very recommended! I'll add +1 for the price of the stay.

Francesca had her assistant Diana greet us the day we got there and they treated us as if we were family. Great hospitality! :) Francesca went above and beyond to find us a taxi to get us to and from Rome despite the peak season of visitors.

It's a nice place to stay considering the cost and with good breakfast. It's a good place to stay after a long day travel. The bed was quite comfortable. Aircon was working fine. Except my room's (#210) shower drainage was plugged and water went down extremely slow. The location is not ideal but if you have a car and a GPS, you should be fine. It takes 45 min. from Collosseum to the hotel, 45 min. to the airport (FCO). There's nothing around the area, like shopping malls or attractions.

Perfect nice Italian town where you can have real Italian...
Perfect nice Italian town where you can have real Italian taste as we did not meet any other tourist during our stay. Nice views of surroundings as Marino is located on the hill. Transporting between airport can be challenging but once you will get used to the system, it becomes easy. Rome can be reached just in 30 minutes by train for just Eur 2.20 per person or you can purchase Eur 8 regional Rome day ticket. You can also visit towns nearby - Castel Gandolfo or Albano - both can be reached by train or bus.

When I arrived at B&B Fabiola, I was having a hard time getting around Rome; I barely knew any words and none of the customs. Mrs. Fabiola let me drop my luggage off before my room was ready. She was very welcoming and patient with me as I tried to communicate in Italian. This kindness continued even after my check-out, when she helped get my baggage to my final destination.
Thank you so much Fabiola for your warm welcome to Rome and to Italy! I had a wonderful time at your B&B and hope to visit again in the future!

Local people very hospitable and keen to help if required.
Local people very hospitable and keen to help if required. Town itself very traditional, rustic old buildings steeped in history and charm. Cobbled narrow streets which only add to its beauty. Situated on one of the mountains surrounding Rome so very hilly to walk around in the summer heat. Restaurants very good and pretty much priced equivalent to what you’d pay in Britain. Handy train station for a 35 minute direct train into Rome itself. Did the hop on tour bus around Rome for 22 euros which was perfect for my groups needs. Also train to other local attractions including lake ALbano which was absolutely stunning. The Popes summer residence sits up one of the lakes mountains and well worth a visit to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

I wanted quiet accomodation near the airport as my flight was late. Melo, the owner offered to collect me from the airport even after 10 pm. This is amazing service especially as it was Saturday. Melo was extremely helpfull and such a lovely, friendly person. Accomodation, was very clean, had what i needed and more. Very good coffee. As a traveling, single, woman, i felt very safe in there and people that I met there, we ended up spending 13 hours sightseeing in Rome and exchanging numbers. I would for sure be back when I am in Rome again.
Walking distance to train station with backpack. Dragging a bag will be challanging, I would avoid walking between station and at night due to lack of sidewalk, which is common in areas I have visited in Italy. Elegant hotel and covered patios with excellent location for visits visit Roma and Largo Albano by train.
Good continental breakie and friendly hostess considering the hotel's apparent low occupancy. Very peaceful area away from the kaos of Roma. Great view of the surrounding area. Clean room and building.
Very friendly host, providing all the necessary information. Parking place in the near of the apartment. Very nice view from the balcony. Comfortable beds.
