There are beautiful beaches around but they tend to be rather crowded. They are suitable for children because the water is shallow for a good trait and there are also some cliffs and deeper water that you may enjoy for snorkeling. In town there are some good restaurants: we ate at the Valentone (with a discount from our host who owns also the B&B) and at the Brera; this latter was the best.
Marina di Camerota has some history and a nice historic church, but is not as charming as Acciaroli.

The owner of the property waited for us to check in late around 22 without any complaints. The room was really clean and nice, renovated. We only stayed one night and if we come back to Marina di Camerota we will definitely go back there. The location is also perfect, close to the beach and the marina. Highly recommended.
The room is super clean and the shower was certainly the best we had all around the Italy! The owner is very nice, he welcomed us, provided some free beverages in the minibar and was really helpful during our stay. We also enjoyed comfortable bedding and blackout curtains, we slept like babies (including our baby :D))
The property owner was very kind, allowing us an earlier check in and giving us a local bottle of wine for free. The apartement was good value for money and very close to one of the local beaches
Breakfast was great! It had an excellent selection of food. The pool at the hotel was also fantastic and family-friendly. The convenience of the beach was a great benefit.
everything was perfect. very nice young people manage the hotel, completely renewed. marvelous location. breakfast super savory and sweet, with homemade stuff.
