Margherita di Savoia is nice in the northern part of the city with lovely restaurants and bars, as it is a tourist destination.
Most of the beachfront is private and you are required to rent a sun-bed and umbrella but each place also has food and drink options.
There are small areas of free public beach access.
Travel by car is the best option as public transport is not overly regular and there are many beautiful locations within short driving distances.

There was evident poverty there; we had adults with children begging for money whilst we were eating in restaurants, in their outdoor areas.

Room is small and cozy, well equipped and clean. Directly on the beach side with lots of restaurants and seaview. Location is also great as it is not far from the centre, saline and also bus station. Breakfast is served in the coffee by the corner which is absolutely fine.
The most kind and welcoming owner we met on our trip! Lovely view from the balcony and it was very cozy, just listening to the sounds of the city and looking at the beach. We will definetly be staying here again if we will be in the area in the future.
Perfect apartment, furnished very practically and tastefully with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever found. Cozy and warm town. I highly recommend visiting it at the end of the season for people who enjoy less heat and empty beach ☺️
The breakfast was amazing, all freshly made pies and croissants, walking distance to the beach (around 1 minute walk) and the room was exactly as we would have hoped. Check in was super easy.
