Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.
Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice.
If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

Very good location - just a short walk from the train station and close to the bus station.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of options.
Clean towels were always available upon request.
Low-quality, cheap furnishings.
Safe didn't work.
Free Wi-Fi didn't work.
AC was too weak to cool the room.
Bathroom and shower were very small, difficult to use (I'm 6ft tall, 225lbs).
Found ants in the room.
No iron and iron board in the room
The hotel is perfectly located for the bus to Venice or the bus to Chioggia which if you have been to Venice before is a must to be among Italians, rather than lots of tourists. The railway station is also a short walk away and perfect to visit the other lovely towns within a short train journey from Mestre (Venice) Railway Station. A good breakfast, quiet room and great staff.
Very good price and quality ratio- hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and in farely good location (bus stop not too far away). Prices per night much better compared to Venice (and there are very good and fast connections to Venice). Breakfast fairly good, although lacks some seasoning and taste.
The front desk staff was kind enough to give me directions to the bus stop on the way to Venice. The room was perfect. The hotel cat was cute. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Venice.
Location is excelent, just 10 minutes by bus to Venice Piazzale Roma
Treviso aiport is just 25 minutes to Mestre station and then walk 5 minutes to the Hotel 7 Euros train ticket price.
