The staff were friendly and were able to accommodate my last minute request for a top floor room. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The bed was comfortable. The train station was an easy 10 minute walk from the Hotel.

Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.
Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice.
If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

The location of this hotel is perfect, there’s a bus stop outside that takes you to Venice in 10 minutes for only €1.50.
The hotel was clean, with room service every day. The breakfast was good and the drinks at the bar were very nice.
I would definitely stay again, maybe I’d pay a little bit more for a nicer room though.
We got our room upgraded after finding the heating in the allocated room not working. The hotel owner was very helpful and took the bus with us to Venice. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance

Small parking lot at hotel with roof protection, is free and if you're lucky you can get one.
