The Ducal Palace and Mantua Cathedral are just a few steps from Hotel dei Gonzaga, set right on the beautiful Sordello Square. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, and a sweet and savoury buffet...

Hotel Broletto is located in the heart of Mantova, just a short walk from the central Piazza Sordello, the Ducal Palace and the Duomo.

Central location perfect and quiet enough. Excellent breakfast.
Very helpful staff who booked restaurants for us and smiled throughout. Comfortable bed, bathroom tight but acceptable. Good value. Charming service. Stayed 4 nights in foggy November.
Recommended and would definitely return. Lift useful with suitcases.
Albergo Bianchi Stazione is set right in front of Mantova Train Station, near Piazza Mantegna and a short walk from the historic centre. Rooms offer air conditioning and satellite TV.

Beautiful and very clean room, very spacious shower, really nice personnel. Entrance to room from the garden was interesting.
Ideally set in the Old Town district of Mantova, Hotel Antica Dimora is set 1.2 km from Palazzo Te, 1.3 km from Mantua Cathedral and 1.5 km from Ducal Palace.

Was not expecting such an amazing beautiful and cultural city. The old City is beautiful with a range of churches, palazzos, squares and buildings. Palazzo Te and Palazzo Ducale both worth visits - allow about 2 hours for each. Mantova Card is good value for these two alone - but includes 18 different attractions and museums over a three day period, including some sites in nearby Sabbioneta. Great eateries and gelato around every corner.

Despite not traveling much in and around Italy, I fell in love with Mantova from day one. A small town drenched in history, with amazing scenery, fantastic people, and amazing food. That's Mantova in a nutshell

Mantova is very beautiful town.
Mantova is very beautiful town. In compare to commercial and crowded Verona and Venice, I found Mantova much better and pleasant, truly Italian. For some reason it is very underrated. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Lots to see. Those who love history and middle ages will appreciate every thing in Mantova.

I had the opportunity to visit the main attractions, but I'd like to do the boat trip.
In the weekend I was there, there was also a special initiative "Mantova fiorita" with some flowerists in downtown with Mantova flowers and plants which gave a colourful booster to the town!

The city is beautiful, clean and very well run.
The city is beautiful, clean and very well run. Free parking on the edge of town and free shuttle service into centre. For us, it's the city itself more than its many museums and sights that makes the visit worthwhile: wonderful parks, lake-shore, squares and old streets only a short distance from the bustle of the main tourist axis. You can walk pretty much everywhere but the public transport system is good. The free shuttle will bring you from the centre to the Palazzo Te (1.5 km from the Palazzo Ducale). To be honest, I preferred the huge park and its cafés to the palace itself, which was full of school tours that day!

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Mantova
I want to note the high level of reception in the appartment of Sonia in Mantova. It was a very warm welcome in all respects (cleaning, location, breakfast and personal participation). If we'll vasit Matova next time we'll stay only in this appartment.
